Education is a part of a strong African American heritage that was diligently fought for. The African American Heritage Graduation is an annual event that honors this past, and celebrates the promising future of graduating students, within the African American community, who will be commencing their studies here at Washington State University.
The ceremony will take place May 2, 2008 at 5:30 pm in the Lewis Alumni Centre with dinner to follow in the Lighty Atrium.
Graduating students interested in participating can register online. There is a $25/graduate charge.
$25 registration fee – includes Kente Cloth, memorabilia gift, and complimentary dinner tickets for graduate and three guests (additional dinner tickets are $12 each - Paid at the door).
